I keep seeing forum posts were people are asking for things that make complete sense to me. Like adding all year one gear to year two, which should of happened from the start of year two. Making all of the year one events (PoE, VoG, CE) relevant for year two in difficulty. I see no problems with either of those requests. The problems I do see is the resulting conundrum that results from the interaction of this game, and many others, and Youtubers and Twitch streamers. When they whore off of anything new Bungie can come up with they are going to support it because they technically have to. If they don't support it you think they are going to stop playing the game? No. That is how they make either all or part of their money. There is a HUGE problem with supporting everything Bungie does and being semi-dependent on what content they release.
The problems are that they overhype things that should have happened long before they did and they have the biggest voices when it comes to the Destiny community. For example, Planet Destiny is suggesting that Bungie makes a challenge mode for VoG but only reward an emblem. That is complete useless shit that will not drive many people back to playing VoG. When you have the biggest voices in a community suggesting useless, minimal work things such as that, there is a problem. Bungie and Activision are companies. Companies are capable of big things. I am not suggesting they work tirelessly to entertain their consumers. I am saying that they should listen to overall player base instead of just the PvP players and the Hardcore players like the Youtubers and Twitch streamers. Give the people what they want!
EDIT: I am concerned with mainstream Youtubers and Twitch streamers and anyone who has been flown to Seattle for free.

I've seen a few really good intelligent unbiased video game Youtubers turn into fanboy hype machines overnight. Some I have met right here on the forums. I can't even be mad at them for it anymore. Everyone's gotta eat right?
