It seems to me as if everyone's getting really selfish with all of the light level sht in this game. Uh stop being -blam!- and actually help others out who are a lower light level then you. Who cares if someone's a 309 trying to do hard mode raid. Suck it up and back pack the man, that's how people get better. That's how pretty much everyone on destiny got their light levels up there so why can't you bastards help?
If anyone wants help with trials during the weekends add me. I'm very good at pvp and will carry you through to the light house. Just kinda hold your own.
EDIT 1:K/d does not matter, you can have the trashiest k/d and be great at this game in pvp just because of the fact you sucked when you first started and your k/d is slowly moving up. I've had destiny since the beta. Don't doubt people just because of k/d you'll get butt hurt when you get trashed by a kid with a 1.19 k/d and you have a 2.0
My gamertag if anyone wants to add me is J3h0va Witn3ss. My names Jimbo.

I could not have put it better myself, destiny players are not very good. I was no1 in world on extinction ghosts and I only gamed with rank 1 players, always getting them through, when all other top players would not even help one low rank player. It makes me laugh how destiny players think they are good at the game.

The selfish is the 309 who ask high light guys to help him and complains that nobody want to help him. If I have a couple of 319 it's just because I did the raid every weeks and spent lots of time trying/doing the raids. So o have the right to ask for high light guardians who spent time like I did. So I were a 309 at this point of the game I would clearly ask for help if I wanted to play with high light guardians. And wouldn't be mad at them if they were saying nah. Btw the issue I would have with a 309 guardian is more about his lack of experience in hard raid rather than his light level.

Yeah k/d is a myth. The guy that takes 1 for the team as the flank guy that will most likely kill or be killed that's the guy I want not the pro in the back with his sniper and head glitch.
-
It sucks because destiny was my first FPS game and I completely sucked for most of year 1 in PVP but still played it a lot. I'd like to say that I've improved ever since HoW but my k/d for trials is still a 0.6ish and I can never play with good players because they think I'm trash when they see my k/d. Idk whether i should remake all my 3 characters because of it orrr.... finding flawless trials groups on the weekends just sucks now....

Helped someone do kings fall for the first time ever yesturday and the entire raid went smoothly and we ended up becoming friends it's stupid how people just don't want to help each other out
-
Because when I was low light trying to do hm, there were no high light level people. We were all 309 and lower. And there was no one there to "back pack" us. Why should you get an easy pass? If I worked my way through to 318-319, I have a right to game with people same level as me. I did my share of struggling with the raid and now earned my right to just enjoy it calmly and easily every week. I will Sherpa sometimes, but definitely not someone like you, who attacks and insults players just because they are higher level than you. So good day to you, sir.

Because some people take this game way too seriously instead of having fun. I care about playing with fun people much more than wiping, its so much more rewarding.
-
I always try to help others

Everyone with a low KD says KD doesn't matter. I guess there are no bad PVP players in Destiny, only good ones. Some of them just have bad KDs. It is never their fault if you lose even though they fed the enemy team 25 kills. They were taking a bullet for their companions. They should be treated as HEROES.

I have to say being carried is an issue because those being carried dont learn the mechanics or get better at the game. You dont get good at the game by being carried. Its one thing to help....its a completely different thing to carry. I have found myself recently in a group where some guys pretty much wanted to be carried on the Oryx challenge (which i had beaten on that character and just stayed to help) by just sitting on plats and not shooting orges and was like they can find someone who would do it their way. This coming from someone who hadnt beaten it yet. Now i have no prob being a pack mule sometimes but carrying people gives them a sense of entitlement like they deserve to be carried and lets say a glitch happens in the raid and kills someone with a certain job....those with experience can fill that job and you can carry on. Those who get carried will cause you to have to wipe and start over since they never gain the skill to do more than one job. In short help, teach, assist are cool but carrying does more harm than good.
-
I guess I just got lucky. I'm only a 302 and Raid gear has stopped dropping for me on all difficulties every week so I can't raise my light level any more and the group I run with refuses to let me leave, no matter how useless I am at that light level.

I have AIDS, I try to avoid helping so I don't spread my AIDS.

Very good at pvp my ass

Edited by vitisku1: 12/19/2015 2:51:32 PMSo everybody who got their light levels up were carried by higher light levels. How, pray tell, did the initial carriers get high light levels? The whole point of this game is pushing and improving and grinding to get your light level up. Always has been, always. People requesting a higher light level than you on lfg? Make your own group. But you don't want to, do you. You know that if you did make your group with no level stipulations, lower levels might try to join. And they wouldn't be able to carry you Edit: by the way, you need to realise that people on these forums can see your post history. So before you go calling people selfish for requesting over 309 for raids because you're not very good at pVe, maybe you shouldnt be looking for 310+ in 2 seperate trials bounties lfg threads, you absolute -blam!-ing hypocrite.

Hey I Sherpa for a lot of people. I get a few friends together and just the last couple weeks I've dragged a few people through hard challenge mode who haven't even done the raid yet. There are a lot of people out there like me who are willing to help.
-
A lot of players think they are the best. Then do it without me.if someone got over 2000 hours, you guys better listen
-
I just avoid raids and trials in general. Communities that call for certain requirements from a player only spawn a bad crowd.
-
And finally the debate begins on light levels. 95% of you guys are A**HOLES who only look for higher levels to do raids with. The reason being is because You lack the skill to play with someone with a lower level because you fear a real challenge. We were all noobes once people so get y'all dicks out the dirt
-
Humans are and unfortunately will continue to be selfish
-
OP is salty he get murdered in trials by a kid
-
Finally someone's said it 🙌🏻
-
I'm going back to Cali

-
Thank you. Finally someone said it for me. Good stuff man

Edited by Toast Muncher: 12/20/2015 12:39:59 AMWhy do people say k/d doesn't matter in pvp it obviously -blam!-ing does. 'Oh look at me I capture a lot of control point! I'm so good at this game!'

They are everywhere
