The dying was probably because common sparrows have a lower durability stat. Great job winning though!

Is durability not normalized for srl? The front stayed on a fire a few times, and that was new for this too.

Edited by QuackNate: 12/18/2015 2:54:50 PMIt isn't. You can get one-shot by the tank at the end of Venus. Also, it seems a lot lighter and less stable. It bounces around a lot more off of jumps and when you get pushed by other speeders you get real squirrely. The main thing is it doesn't have side-boosts. I did a few races with the ol' S-10 in all white starter gear and you can get killed by enemy fire pretty easy as well. They are also MUCH slower when not boosted by the gates. Top speed is the same, but the penalty for messing up is MUCH worse on the S-10. I will say, it seems to corner a littler better than the SRL bikes. That may just be that you handle better when you're behind as a catch up mechanic? On Mars when I'm behind I can take the big left into the pillar stairs at full speed without side-boosting and line up the gates real easy.
