Weird controller issues in the crucible

When I play crucible I get weird controller issues. Starting a match everything is fine - the controller's light (playing on PS4) is blue (this signals that the controller is connected fine to the console). The problems start when i get close to some specific enemies: the controller gets laggy and the sensitifity gets all messed up --> i lose control of the controller (no pun intended). Looking at the controler's light I see that it turns red when close to enemies. This shows that the controler has connection issues with the console. I did try out different controllers (a friend of mine has two - tried both of them) but the issue is still there. When i play PvE I don't have such problems. Even when playing on the Iron Banner i didn't really notice this problems. I also tried playing with a USB-cable connected from the console to the controller - still same issues. Looking at the connection of the enemies there are often 1 to 3 which have a red connection bar (in games I experience this problem). When playing other games I don't have this problem and I am getting really annoyed by that. PvP is not enjoyable this way. Maybe I am really just unlucky and it is a hardware problem. Am I really the only one with this specific problem? Are there maybe any solutions to this or can someone please at least tell me what the problem/reason of this issue is? Thanks for the answers! P.S. normaly I don't get angry about PvP - but if you are trying to get the 100% while The Last Word is equipped for the The Chaperone Quest it gets frustrating. I just got a PS4 2 weeks ago and don't have someone who could just help me out by letting me kill him in a Rumble match ...
