How do I get better at PvP?

Nowadays I'm using shotguns more and more as a counter to hard scoping. Why try to shoot against 7 enemies (yes, 7) hard scoping a corridor when I can flank around, get up close, and blow some scrubs away? Shooting the shotgun takes zero skill, but getting up close enough to use it effectively? Skill.

*Clears throat, shotguns are for noobs "Thats commonly accepted ok" Snipers take no skill "Sure thats true" Fusion rifles, only noobs use them "Usually" Sidearms "Im not sure cos its rare that people use em" See a pattern here If a special is not nooby You're at a disadvantage Call people srubs cos they are using a cruch, you dont care if they are using something that puts them at a disadvantage, hell thats tue only way People wont give a shit and will leave you alone. Quit your bitching

Where is the "as much as it takes to use 1000yds of aim assist" button? I do suppose that's a little lengthy.

Edited by Rite2RemainSilent: 12/16/2015 11:44:38 PMIronically yes, yes it does. Because many hardcore "sweaty" players run snipers as their primary weapon nowadays for the entirety of most matches and take no shit for doing so, I believe Shotguns are finally in their perfect spot in the meta. The only thing that needs changed are fusion Rifles; they were literally ruined with this last patch update nerfing their overall stability, during 2.0 I think that they were almost perfect.

Ha, didn't click it. It somewhat takes skill. If you're going against someone who ACTUALLY knows how to counter a Shotgun then they definetely require skill. But most people don't know how to strafe backwards and shoot at the same time.

Ha didn't click

Consistently letting shotgunners run up to you isn't any better.
-
Depends. To be good worth anything takes skill. I believe that the best snipers take the most skill. Good shotgunners also take skill, because you have to know exactly where your opponent is. However, fusion rifles take more skill that shotguns because not only do you have to know where your opponent is, but you also have to compensate for charge time. A good tip for locating your target is to sit by an edge so that you can see around the corner.

About as much as it takes to camp with a sniper.

I would say there is some skill involved in getting close enough to kill somebody with a shotty without getting wrecked on the way in. The blink shotty combo is exceptionally annoying, but it is part of the game so....

Biased poll is biased...

The salt, it sustains me.

Edited by Are You Okay: 12/16/2015 11:09:42 PMIt used to take no skill but now I feel like it does because you can barely ever kill in one shot. Also you have to watch out because there's a nooby hardscoper around every corner.

Ever heard of Chaperone?

Depends on your choice of shotty
