Edit2: reply from Cozmo! Information is being updated on the bnet calendar. This is helpful and appreciated but still leaves those of us on the app wanting. Hopefully we can get notifications on the app from the social feed at some point in the future. Right now it's fairly buried and I didn't even know it existed for a while.
Original post
You dropped the ball....again. Why did you bother making a promise you aren't going to keep?
Edit: I know it's probably just to increase traffic on Twitter but you have a good portion of your player base that will not use Twitter. Not for bungie and not for anyone else.
The app has a social feed. Instead of promising you would sticky tweets and not following through have notifications added from the social feed to alert us. I can't find an option for that and it would immediately solve this problem.
Please follow through on promises or communicate why it's not happening.
And another "dude...shhh" like Deej is not acceptable.

Ok - old
I added it to the Bnet calendar. Iron banner is still a few weeks off and we will be talking more about it in the Weekly Update. -
Technically there are no reasons why they simply cannot put out in game notifications. We had them in Dust all the time, and before I quit that game last year, we even had a running ticker with updates if we needed it. Every time we signed in, there was a full description of the most recent hotfix/patch along with any new information that was relevant to players before you went to your character selection screen.

I didn't know any of this was going on...wait what's Twitter?? I don't use external sites for destiny I only use the app.
-
False promises is a new Bungie standard.
-
I think this is a glimpse at what happens to our feedback.

I'm on this website pretty regularly. I don't use Twitter. I don't read Twitter. I have almost nothing to do with Twitter. I do not understand why they cannot, at the very least, create a post on this website referencing the important Twitter message that they've taken the time to post on a 3rd party website. They want to use Twitter. Fine, I don't give a shit. But there's no excuse, other than being lazy, for not creating a post on this site for important tweets.

Forget Twitter you guys. BUNGIE SNAPCHAT LETS GO
-
Hey at least he responded my good sir that's cool
-
How many bungie employees are playing all together ?
-
Oh I got it! Add a 'message of the day' box in our Quest or Roster menus. It can say interesting scientific facts too!
-
This is a legitimate question.
-
Twitter is everything I despise about social media.
-
BUMP! Thank you for posting this. This is the third time they've done this: https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/176385958/0/0/1

i think twitter is OP and definitely needs a nerf
-
Is it just laziness to not just copy and paste and post on both platforms back to back
-
At this point there is no excuse for not updating the website with news. Twitter only isn't acceptable.
-
Their target market all have Twitter. Kids
-
Wait...there's a twitter channel they update on??? I was wondering why I don't see warnings and updates on their own forum...does anyone have the twitter address? I don't see it posted anywhere on the bungie website? Ha guess it's like matchmaking...if you want it bungie says go out and find it yourself...you want updates on our game...we aren't going to put it on our site go find it suckers!
-
I don't twitter.. what did he say that broke a promise?
