Threats to take down PSN and XB Live for Christmas

Has anyone else seen these reports of that group threatening to pretty much shutdown online console gaming for the whole week of Christmas? Just looking for some more insight.

The hilarious thing is they announced it before they did it last year too. Lol I'll take my free legendary from bungie if it happens again though
