Threats to take down PSN and XB Live for Christmas

Has anyone else seen these reports of that group threatening to pretty much shutdown online console gaming for the whole week of Christmas? Just looking for some more insight.

Maybe they should learn more then just using bot sites to DDOS networks, but they probably can't.
