"Well, I'd say that's another job well done... Wait, what's that?"
Korvic put the scope of his rifle up to his helmet, noting the figure moving up to the body of the dreg. The figure waved at him.
"Well... Whoever they are, they seem to be friendly."
"Master Korvic, I wouldn't advise rushing out in to the open to greet a stranger. Remember what happened last time?"
"Hey, we both agreed that we would never speak of that again. Besides, if this guy wanted me dead, I would've seen it coming."
He dropped down from the steel beam, landing on his feet, and made his way towards the stranger.

"Is this the wisest course of action? You have no idea who this guy is" "Odds are he's friendly. Otherwise he would have shot at me from there" "Still though. It's possible he didn't recognize you through the scope" "Even he means ill intent, have I lost a fight in the last... 30 years?" "Isn't one of your sayings "there's always someone better"?" "Yeah, but I've yet to meet someone who truly outclassed me" "I give up. Don't blame me for not warning you" By the time John and his Ghost were done bickering, the Hunter was close enough to see most of what he needed. "Afternoon! That was a fine shot earlier. Worthy of a Hunter. May I ask why you decided this Dreg deserved such a fate?" He probably already knew the answer but you could tell a lot about someone from how they talked. It would give John a general idea of what type of man he is. Or woman.

Korvic grinned behind his helmet as he rested his foot against the crashed pike. "Well, if I'm being honest, I wasn't too keen on shooting up the poor guy. Kinda feel sorry for 'em, almost. He was just doing his job, and I was doing mine."
