"I'll get to that bit soon. Let's start with introductions shall we? I believe that's what people still do these days upon meeting, do they not?"
She took of her helmet to reveal an awoken face, with pink skin that subtly rippled like ether, and dark purple hair fashioned into a Mohawk. Here irises blazed with white light.
"I'm Zaaria. Pleased to meet you, Mr...?"

The hunter pulled down his hood and removed his own helmet. An Awoken himself, he had a light blue, almost grey-ish skin tone, a smooth face, and silver hair swept off to one side. His eyes were a fiery blue color, and grey markings covered his face around his eyes, nose, and chin. "Korvic Lanister. Hunter, Nightstalker and Bladedancer, Coyote, knife collector, knife juggler, hand cannon appraiser, sharp shooter, and stand up comedian." He chuckled and held out his hand.
-
"That's a lot of titles. I think I'll just stick with Korvic, if that's fine with you" Zaaria leaned forward and shook his hand.
-
"Yeah, well that's just a formal introduction. Heheh. Nice to meet you." He returned the handshake.
-
"Now, onto business. I said that I was recruiting for something big and bad, and that hasn't changed one bit. Something's coming for all of us Korvic, and it doesn't discriminate..." She paused in though for a moment, looking down to the ground and gazing upon a lone dragonfly perched on some blades of grass. "...when was the last time you were back at the last city?"
-
Korvic put his hand up to his chin, thinking back to when he last remembered being inside the walls. "Hmm..... About a month or so, I'd say."
-
"Ah..." Zaaria's expression began to sink, becoming more sympathetic and sorry than before. "... So you haven't heard the news then?"
-
"Don't believe I have."

Edited by Moot: 12/16/2015 12:24:53 AM"Well, I guess there's no easy way of saying this, but..." She paused and took a deep breath, before looking straight into Korvic's eyes. "The city was attacked just a couple of days ago. A quarter to a half of all the city's landmarks have been badly damaged in some way, shape or form, and the civilian death toll is in the thousands. And rising... Guardian casualties are also high"
-
Not again... "I have a feeling I already know the answer to this, but... Who? Who attacked the city?"
-
Edited by Moot: 12/16/2015 12:49:08 AM"I wanna hear your answer. And I have a feeling you're right"
-
"Aries..."
-
"Annoyingly, correct. But, now that you've just revealed yourself to know him, that makes this recruitment that much more interesting..."
-
"And why's that, if you don't mind me asking?"
-
Edited by Moot: 12/16/2015 12:59:50 AM"Because it means that you know him. You know he's dark, you know he's dangerous, and you know he's evil. The fact that you have knowledge on Aries makes you valuable, or at least more valuable to me than another willing guardian. We need info like that" "Now... If I told you that Aries was amassing an army to do god knows what but destroy everything in its path, would you be willing to stand against it?"
-
"Stand against a super powerful dark guardian and his army of bad guys? All in a day's work as far as I'm concerned."
-
"Great. Then consider yourself recruited and prepared to kick that little dark guardian's tainted ass"
-
"Alright then. What should I be expecting?"
-
Someone was laughing. It was menacing to say the least. " Oh I am much more than some tainted Guardian. Let me reassure you of that." The voice had no origin.
-
Zaaria smirked. "Nice of you to 'join' us. Or not, in this case"
-
Aries appeared fifteen feet away from the two. " Ah Korvic. Long time no see." Then he looked at Zaaria. " And to whom do I owe the pleasure?"
-
Korvic looked over at Aries. "Heya... So, you've been busy. You know, I've always kinda wondered, what's it like being a genocidal douchebag of intergalactic proportions?"
-
" It has its moments..."
-
"I'm sure it does. You know, I went through a lot, and I mean A LOT, of nonsense to stop your shenanigans from happening the first go around... And now you gotta go and ruin all my hard work? I'm hurt..."
-
" Well what can I say? Bad habits are the hardest to go away."
-
"Old habits die hard, eh?"
