[b]Vaaxius looks into the distress call bounty[/b]

[b]Within is a repeating message.[/b] "[i]Hello, this is ****iden** of the A***n team. I seem to have come across some sort of energy manipulation object on my way back to the cruiser. Requesting assistance as my ship is out of fuel. The planet may be hostile, not sure yet. This is the last message I have power to send.[/i]"

[b]Vaaxius gets in her ship and begins to fly to the planet, making sure that all her weapons were ready[/b]

[b]As you approach the general area that the signal came from, you see volcanoes dotting the landscape.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius groans as she puts on some heat regulating armor before landing[/b]

[b]You spot the remains of a ship not far away. It looked old, a model from nearly 15 years ago, but the signal was just sent out earlier this week.[/b]

"What the hell? Wait a second, was that signal talking about the Axion team?" [b]Vaaxius gets out of her ship and walks to it[/b]

[b]It looks beat up, not by time, but by a violent landing.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius sends out a pulse to scan for any anomalies[/b]

[b]The heat messes with it a bit, but you detect movement to the north, where you spot a cave.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius decides to search the ship first than head to the cave[/b]

[b]Everything inside is about 15 years old. The pilot seems to have taken everything useful, and nothing inside points to his identity.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius sighs as she tries to access the database on the planet to see what animals were native to the planet[/b]

[b]You receive some sort of article listing a type of lizard with rocky armor on its back, and some sort of golem like creatures made of molten rock.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius types into her disguise kit for the lizard, seeing if she could turn into it now that it knew what it was[/b]

[b]It works.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius begins to head to the cave in this form[/b]

[b]You spot some lizards on the way but they ignore you, even though they are a bit wary. They are distracted by something ahead.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius looks at them and sends out a pulse[/b]

[b]You detect combat ahead. Gunfire towards the lizards.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius changes back to her normal form and walks to it[/b]

[b]Upon changing back, nearby lizards begin to spit lava at you. The gunfire gets louder.[/b]

[b]Vaaxius does out of the way and fires at them with her scorch cannon while it's in dark matter mode[/b]

[b]They screech and the ones who don't die flee. With you aiming at them and firing your weapon you don't hear the footsteps of a man who bumps into you, his back to yours. You both spin around surprised.[/b]
