" I'm not asking you to. My friend is. And he is quite persistent about it."
-
"Friend?"
-
" He's an old friend of yours as well. Although I'm sure that friendship has long diminished. A portal opened up behind Aries, and multiple Fangs stepped out. Twelve captains stood behind him, each well armed and ready for combat. The last one to step out was of Kell size. Skolas. " Funny thing. Even though the Guardians stuck him in the Prison of Elders, none have managed to kill him."
-
Lakun'ai couldn't even believe what he was seeing. He let out an angry, harsh growl at the sight of his old leader. "You dare bare arms with this... false prophet? A menace hellbent on a broken prophecy?!"
-
" I don't care what it is you call him. Or what he did in the past. He's offering me soldiers. And all he wants in return is the reunification of his House, as well as help with conquering the Reef. Not a bad deal." Skolas only laughed cruelly. " Of course. You and your hearty bunch here were once proud members of the House of Wolves. And now your services are required by your Kell."
-
"Proud? I would rather trap myself within the Prison of Elders than serve a homicidal warmongering murderer." Lakun'ai kept his eyes on Skolas, then looked to Aries. He now knew that Aries wasn't his old friend that he had once known. He scoffed and looked back to Skolas. "I'm surprised you'd be desperate enough to work alongside the abominations of the Light-snuffer... now I see why the other Houses think of you as a psychopath."
-
Lightsnuffer? All I see is the path to an eliksni kingdom. Like the ones spoken of in legend. " Before we get off track here. Lakun'ai, listen to me very, very closely. Because I won't repeat myself. You and your people here are to join back with the Wolves. We will take you to our fleet. There you will be assigned your new positions within the army. Comply, and you survive this. Try to fight back, and I will personally kill everyone here. That is a promise."
-
"I would rather burn alive than serve a monster." Aliksis came out from the ketch. She saw Skolas and immediately became horrified.
-
Aries sighed. " Maybe a little more convincing will do." He spotted Aliksis. " Is that your mate? Well, I may spare her. After all, the Wolves do get lonely at night. She can comfort them." When hearing this, some of the Wolves chuckled.
-
Lakun'ai allowed his voice to become slightly louder and more violent. "Only a coward would use her as an object! Leave now, you swine. And take your warmongering elsewhere!"
-
Aries closed the distance, elbowing Lakun'ai in the stomach, and forcing him to double over. The Wolves all aimed their weapons so nobody would move. Aries spoke to Lakun'ai, almost in a whisper. " Listen here old friend. I am not in the mood for you to get loud. If you come quietly, I can promise you and those under you will be treated well. But if you cause problems....well.... Only hell awaits for you."

Edited by FriedUpChicken: 12/15/2015 10:15:18 PMLakun'ai groaned at the impact. He growled and spat ether at Aries. "You're not my old friend, you filth..." Aliksis ran over and helped him up. Lakun'ai grunted and stared at Aries. Things fell silent for what seemed like an eternity. He thought for a while and finally spoke. "...I will 'assist' you if you keep your word of treating my kind well. If I see a wolf swine messing with any of them you will regret it." Perhaps I can help end this thing from the inside... Lakun'ai thought.
-
" I'm glad we could come to terms." Multiple Wolf skiffs landed nearby, each one was empty, to carry the new "recruits" up to the main Ketch. Aries and Skolas watched from a distance as they were loaded onto the skiffs. " Lakun'ai will most likely stir some trouble. It's not like him to go quietly." Then I'll rip him in half. A message to the new Wolves. " You'll just turn him into a Martyr. No. Just break his spirit. If anything goes awry, and I mean anything, even as simple as an ether pack missing, then you torture his mate. And any close friends. Make it publicly known, that if any sort of sabotage occurs on the ship, Lakun'ai will be to blame, and his closest friends will be punished." You are a sick one. Even by my standards. " You don't become the victor by playing nice."
