So yea this is an already well populated idea, just wanted to throw in my spin to it
Ships change
[spoiler] With this update ship would get their own weapons each ship body type for example the toaster ships would have slow fire heavy hitting rock launchers ships like glass minute would have quick firing blasts and so on and so forth, ship type would also affect health speed and reaction to sudden turns. The final change most people will probably like this, you can mix certain parts of ships together to create a unique ship,do you like seraphim toaster? What? You like the new IB ship as well and the new monarchy one? Well now you can combine certain aspects to build the ship fit for YOU![/spoiler]
Pvp aspect
[spoiler]for pvp an entirely new crucible subtype would be placed in. Ship battles. These would range from destroy the flag ship to escort and attack and straight up ship fights. [/spoiler]
PVE aspect
[spoiler]you guys are probably thinking SKRUB HOW WOULD SHIPS DO ANYTHING IN PVP!yea...normally they wouldn't but a recent idea of mine has shed some new light on traveling....What if instead of load screens and picking the destination, we fly to the planet in our ship and once we reach the planet THEN we get the directory, in between this public event would pop up like FALLEN KETCH IMBOUND, attempt to board? Cabal ship approaching, take it out. Hive tombships cutting in! Calling in reinforcements. Each one allows for different shaders, ships, and A CHANCE AT RACE SPECIFIC EXOTICS!(Cabal phalanx shield as a speed ;-; GG no re[/spoiler]
PVE loot drops
[spoiler]for PVE the 3 ship related race events give different loot drops.
fallen: fallen sketch boarding has a chance to give current year HoW wolves exotics, lord of wolves queen breakers bow and dregs promise(dregs letdown.....)ANNDDDD THATS RIGHT AND! A new exotic sword. The captains sword it's element would be arc, the stats would be more swing. Speed less damage and would not lose the blade when it's out of ammo, the electrical effect would simply vanish.
The armor would be an exotic captains helmet for hunters blade dancer subclass. Exotic kell gauntlets for Titans .this would be for striker.
And warlocks get exotic chest with servitor and shank wiring. this would be for storm caller)
Cabal for cabal ship battle exotic loot would be . Cabal slug rifle exotic (Ar or a funky side arm) projection rifle would be either a rocket launcher with grenade launcher function or explosive rounds auto rifle. And lastly the cabal heavy slug thrower would be a heavy machine gun.
Armor would be
Colossus chest plate for Titan's Sunbreaker class
Psion boots for hunter's gunslinger.
Warlock's sunsinger gets psion helmet.
Hive. For surviving the hive tombship ambush you have a chance of getting an exotic void auto rifle inclined by the shredder. Boomer exotic rocket launcher that acts like a grenade launcher? And lastly the Crota relic drops as a sword finally, it is coded differently but the physics would be the same
F hunters would get exotic thrall gauntlets. For night stalker.
Wizard chest plate for warlock's this would benefit Voidwalker.
Defenders get ogre chest or helmet .
The exotic perk for these have not been decided suggestions are welcome.
