I got reeeally excited about the coming Warcraft movie and just started replaying WC 3 campaign, having tons of fun and nostalgia attacks.
But. Even tho I think of myself as a Warcraft fan, there has been one important thing about this game series that I ignored for years. Yes, it's World of Warcraft which I have never ever played.
Looking at this game and just realizing how huge it is always made me scared of it. I mean there was so much to see, so much to do that I was afraid to simply lose my life to WoW. Today, after reading short story of all the addons I felt like I missed a few very sweet moments I could have had in my memory.
According to some journalists, the Legion is about to be the last big story based addon, which would mean that the game is "ending". How do you think, is it the right time to join World of Warcraft or should I keep playing WC 3 instead? Many players say that WoW will never be as good as it was during Burning Crusade. Is it even worth playing?
Your opinions and advices.
Edit:
Thanks for replies everyone! Besides, I've talked to a few veteran players who think that WoW is still kickass. I guess I am pretty convinced now :)
