Alright so what I find annoying is that I cannot seem to kill a sniper while I'm pumping them in the face with MIDA. AA does next to nothing for snipers but the recovery time between each flinch is a little to short. Players should have no problem challenging with a scout rifle if their aim is precise. Both weapons shot reward precision and many players get robbed of their reward time and time again by snipers. Snipers should be difficult to use and not everyone should be able to use them. They should only reward a skilled hand and a player new to sniping should not be able to pull off clutch shots with them. Seasoned vets will find that they can still get their shot off. Newer players will have trouble. It should be an art form learned through practice. Not just picked up. I don't wanna see snipers unusable, just want a chance to be able to beat them at range with a ranged weapon. Every play style should be encouraged and challenging with a scout should be viable.
P.S. I added the numbers in parenthesis to show the scalar by what the amount would come to be in relation to percents. Most people said bungie lied in patch notes but most people forgot how percents work. Percents are represented in terms of 1, not 100. So from 0-1 not 0-100

Try highest impact scout, last extremity, cocytus sr4 and IB. They all flinch effectively.
-
I feel to better snipers in general bungie should: -reduce ALL non precision hits across the board -increase ALL precision hits across the board -Make equip and ready/holster time much slower -reduce bullet curve/magnetism Snipers are supposed to reward those with a great shot. So make body hits unrewarding. Snipers, again, should require a steady hand and good shot. Since there is scope glare and generally snipers aren't hidden, they should be easily killed if the shot isn't well placed. Much like shotguns, shotguns require incredibly close quarters now, and even more so after patch. So why should snipers reward those who make mistakes. It should be the same with all secondaries. You get one shot and if you blow it, you better run or be killed.

Scope sway doesn't make sense in this game. The MIDA outguns me so much. I've also gone and faced better snipers than myself and you just have to challenge them in a different way. Don't try the same thing over and over again expecting a different result ya know?
-
Strafe + Mida = sniper's death Git gud

Where's the option for "Neither because OP is garbage at crucible"?
-
-blam!-ing bitch
-
Gosh stfu already
-
I'm curious if these people are reading your post. Their replies literally have nothing to do with what you posted
-
I say avoid gunfights where snipers are hard scoped in on your area. It might be hard to walk away from that but try to outsmart the sniper
-
Biased post
OP is an idiot
-
Muted.
-
Snipers have always had the fastest time to kill of any game. Why has it taken you so long to figure that out?
-
Or you could learn to play properly and stop acting like a little....
bitch
-
I've killed plenty of snipers with my mida
-
Whenever I snipe, the flinch is almost unbearable, but when everybody else snipes, they suffer from no flinch, I dont understand.

Edited by StormiDutch: 12/16/2015 12:27:29 PMYes..... Because mida is underpowered as it is.
said no one while being serious ever
Time to kill mida is pretty quick. If the sniper gets a kill shot off before you kill them, more power to them. Also mida is low impact, take tbat into consideration.
-
So much hate on this post. Seriously though if I land two headshots with my jade rabbit and you can still pull off the shot while Standing In the same spot there is a problem.
-
More flinch. If I'm landing head shots their auto rifle shouldn't land consistent head shots back.
-
Just use the Mida. Land one shot and they are done
-
I personally hate being sniped from less than 25 ft away while I'm shooting a torrent of bullets directly into their face with my Arminius-D. Makes zero sense.
-
Axion grenades around corners and choke points + Soul rip + Mida/ bad juju + A good fusion rifle to throw off opponents = Everything (including snipers) dies
-
Nothing wrong with snipers at all. This doesn't help, but you need to adapt more.
-
Since snipers "require no skill", why aren't you sniping too?
-
Neither
