Pre-Nerf Quodron
Here's a question.
How many Guardians here remember Quodron's debut?
Follow-up question.
How many of us killed him before Bungie neutered him?
I totally forgot how much of a pain in the ass this guy was his first week. My group eventually downed him, but it took some elbow grease. A comment in these forums reminded me that he exists.
Always remember.

Edit: The creepiest part of Quodron is his grimoire. He's a Vex Gatelord, yeah, but the kicker is that he's in the prison [i]willingly[/i].

Edited by Gearrat: 12/15/2015 4:19:35 PMI soloed Qodron pre nerf as a 34. A 365 found verdict mag would destroy the detainment and I just kept using Gjallarhorn and heavy synthesis. It was about as easy as a hard Crota solo as a 34.

Yup, used the good ole 42 Gally rockets nuke, still died and had to have a warlock res.

Only way we were able to do it was immediately popping weapons and dumping 21 ghorn rockets, synth, and 21 more rockets hoping we didnt get imprisoned before they killed him. Possibly the most stressful fight in my entire destiny career.

My team wiped the floor with him beforehand e nerf. Didn't even wipe. Had some close calls though. I was also a 33 and this was on 34.

First time my team quit. Second time we beat it legit. Third time it was a gjally party. Auto shotgun or SGA was the thing to use if not gjally.

5 RepliesNothing compares to hard Atheon as a team of 27s. Skolas was a bitch and I agree, Qodron was a pain. But hard VoG as 27s though.

I remember. First time, two out of three of us didn't have Gjallarhorn, so we spent forever clearing out adds. I equipped SGA to break shields, and it could usually get one, maybe two of us out, and then the survivor(s) would get the revives, if they lasted that long. Also carried a shotgun to wipe out those fifty million Axis Hobgoblins... geez... Then two of my other friends asked for help with it... and I gritted my teeth, equipped SGA... It was rough.
