Here is the thing most people don't understand. Gun solutions in one country will not work with other countries because the populations of different countries have different attitudes, values, etc. Time and time again I see
Person A - "Country X has tight gun control and low murder rates."
Person B - "Country Y has loose gun control and low murder rates."
People in Switzerland are different than British people who are also different from Americans who are different from X nation.
Attempting solutions that work in another country is fine [b][u]but to think solution X will work because it does so in Country X is ignorant.[/u][/b]

It isn't about taking guns off the street its more about making sure the right people get them and when trust worthy people are the only ones to have them then other people don't give into paranoia and buy their own guns. It lowers gun deaths but at the same time can give people like farmers something to protect their livestock with.
