I'm at a part as well where I have to decide with which faction to go. I'll just do every side-quest in every faction first and decide at the end which to make my permanent enemy. I don't thoroughly agree with the vision of the Brotherhood of Steel. Some major spoilers in the spoiler tag so don't click it if you're still doing their quests and the main story. [B]WARNING SPOILER TAG AHEAD - CLICK AT OWN RISK[/B] [spoiler]I couldn't believe Elder Maxon's response to Paladin Danse being a Synth. Everyone in the BoS acted liked he betrayed the BoS big time. Well, that's just funky bullshrimp, right? What they should realize is that Danse is an example that not all what has been created by the Institute is evil or plain bad. So yeah, that's why I don't quite like them. They want anything but human to be dead or destroyed. What about all these friendly ghouls? Also, Brian Virgil could possibly fix many super mutants. I mean, he fixed himself as well, even though he said it could take a long time to work his medicine out so far that it works on every super mutant. But, nonetheless, it can be fixed. Why not find cures instead of just blazing in and killing off everything? I'm sure the Institute has a lot of useful equipment that could help speed up the process. So yeah, anyways, even though I might be a Paladin now within the BoS, I won't hesitate to make them my permanent enemy if one of the other factions offers something better.[/spoiler]

Institute, because while they might kind of be pricks you can take certain steps to make sure they change down the line. The brotherhood you just follow orders and join them in being an asshole.

1 ReplyCreate multiple characters or multiple save points on 1 character and play all of the different quest lines. They're all very good. If you only want to do 1, I would say to side with the Minutemen and go against the institute. [spoiler]its far more challenging and a much bigger fight. You first have to defend the castle against an attack by the institute, and then you attack the institute.[/spoiler]
