[b]Aftermath...

[b]The assault was horrendous, casualties scaled into the hundreds, as the numbers of Corrupted where higher still
Among them, the Cyprus's crew injured, their main source for the cure, Tanya suffered as well
Albeit, she proved herself in battle, killing many of their foes with Phazon, and putting a stop to the General as well
She suffered from a broken leg, arm, and several fractured bones, as she lay in a stasis tube, her body healing itself at a surprising rate, possibly one of the pluses to being a Phaazite
The Beta Genesis, wounded, Vaax suffered and so did the others from cuts, gun shots, and even parts missing from their bodies
And then the parts of the crew effected by the Phazon blast Nova let out, they where administered cures, slowly becoming Phaazites themselves in the end, the ones who didn't, and mutated horrifically, where put down by their former allies...[/b]

[b]Requiem
2 Weeks After the Attack
Most of the crew had recovered, the Beta Genesis where repaired, and Tanya was let out of her stasis tube, although guarded now by a squad of heavily armed soldiers
The former troops, now turned Phaazite, where instructed and trained by Tanya herself, in ways to control their now energy filled bodies, and how to take down members of the Phazon army, even the Genesis as well, to ensure the next time they encounter the Phazon army...

It takes place in the training room, mid training with Tanya in way to kill of any Phazon soldier of your choosing[/spoiler]

[b]Eventually she finishes, as the group leaves, and she sits off to the side[/b]

[b]he walks over to her[/b] "Hey Tanya"

[b]She doesn't look up[/b] [i]"Hi..."[/i]

"You alright?"

[i]"Tired, stressed, Phantom chewed me out a few hours ago. "[/i]

"Then take a break"

[i]"Can't, need to make sure that everything is accounted for"[/i]

"You took a beating during the battle Delta is still recovering you need some rest too"

[i]"I'll be fine, heal faster than normal people, I need to make sure nothing goes wrong"[/i]

"Well I'm gonna go check on Delta."

"She hasn't seen you since the battle you should go say hi to her too. She took a beating"

[i]"Yeah, I've heard, but like I said, I'm trying to make sure any of the new Phaazites don't cause problems..."[/i]

Jarle sits slumped against the wall, still stuck aboard the [i]Leviathan[/i]. He checks his revolver, and satisfied that it is loaded, he stays where he is, the shrapnel in his knee preventing him from moving.

[b]Footsteps where heard outside the small room he was in, then shouts[/b]

Jarle aims his revolver towards the door, and tries to raise himself off the floor.

[b]A Grunt enters, looking around and then seeing him, raising his rifle[/b]

Jarle fires two rounds into its chest, and moves towards the door.

[b]The shrapnel in his leg gave him pain, but he could walk Maybe there was an escape pod somewhere...[/b]
-
He holsters his revolver, and draws his Bolter. Keeping close to the wall, he moves slowly in the direction he suspects the escape pods of being in, keeping an ear open for more noise that could be hostile in nature.
