Amazing how fast they put out a patch late at night to fix their wallet yet still screw over thousands of players with broken game mechanics. Hell, since TTK released the raid has had multiple bugs yet they go unfixed. Bungie in danger of losing some 10 dollar sales on their TWO MAP, ONE MODE "FREE EVENT"? patch overnight.
If you still support them after this you're nothing but a silver sucking desticle.
EDIT: let's see you defend bungie now, children. Cosmetics only, right guys? Paying for free dlc, right guys? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shout out to people who waited months to get all 50 fragments and only got a timegated shader LOL

Oh for the love of -blam!- To fix the book glitch, you need to disable an option to view it from the market. That's it. To nerf/buff guns, you need to first evaluate all the guns. Come up with plans on how to change the damage and other factors, and have them all change in a way that they will be "balanced" and have them even. Then they have to individually address the outliers, or in this case, Thorn. Next, they spend a ridiculous amount of time just changing the values of ALL the guns in the class individually and fine tuning them so they only deal more or less damage by a certain amount. Then you have to spend an amount of time doing it for EVERY single gun, even those common guns you havent seen since you were a noob. Example: You fine tune damage values for hand cannons to lower damage, then you have to decrease a completely different set of values for just range. Then you have to for stability and all the other values. FOR ONE GUN. THEN YOU REPEAT THE PROCESS. WITH ALL CLASSES OF GUNS. THEN YOU HAVE TO DO IT FOR UNLISTED VALUES LIKE HIP FIRE SPREAD. And then you have to test it and see if any inconsistencies happen, like if the values are too high or low, and spend a meticulous amount of time seeing if it feels right. Im no programmer, but I know enough to know that changing how guns handle in a game is a tough process. And it seems like none of you realize how tedious it is. This community really is toxic and taking things for granted. Tl;dr: A couple clicks can change a book exploit. A couple months can change guns. Shut up and deal with it.
