Post your best SRL WTF and WTH moments.
Was victory ripped from your grasp?
Did 2st cross the line 20 seconds before 2nd place despite being behind the whole race?
Let me set the scene for me own WTF moment
PIcture it, you are three gates from victory, not one obstical in the way, you are in a fierce battle with 2nd place to keep the lead and take the flag.
THREE flags to go, you hit the flag side by side with 2nd place.
TWO flags to go, 2nd place missed the flag and you pull ahead, certain in your victory
Almost at the last flag before the finish line...... no way 2nd can catch you if you hit that flag
2nd place tears past you as if you were going backwards, ignores the last flag and smashed the finish line almost a second ahead
Bug, Glitch, Exploit, Cheat?
Who knows, but bloody annoying!!!

I got so annoyed earlier when I was doing a perfect run on Venus, lap 3 when I got completely destroyed by the hydra blocking the portal. I couldn't believe what just happened...Finished the race with a time of 4:06...

My number one pet peeve is when you are first, naturally, and you hit the ground so hard that makes you lose your boost.

So I'm driving through Venus 1st has already finished, and 2nd is just ahead they -blam!- up and hit a wall. I roar ahead of them I see them trying to catch up he tries bumping me but misses I hit last gate and make it to the finish line then I look at my time as he finishes and somehow I still placed 3rd

same thing happens to me lately. first race i tried i cruised to first on my one . ran a few more on my 360 and i can't seem to catch a break. missing gates when i know i hit them, people in tumblers seemingly outpacing me just weird random shit. plus the track kinda melds graphically more on the 360, all the lights and flashes blur. it's a bit harder to process what the hell is going on. whatever it's destiny i expect the grind lol

And my favorite, entering one of the portal gates in 3rd place, right side up and centered. The portal flash starts to dissipate and I'm now upside down floating gently into the canyon below.

While easily holding 2nd place to fish a placement bounty: 2 gates short of the finish line I get one shot by the devil walker and instantly blown up. I respawn only to watch 5th place sail past me leaving me with a last place finish.

1 ReplyDude bumps frontal in a wall (no explosion), while i'm coming at him at Full speed and he still manages to keep ahead of me... Weird stuff

Third lap, 1st place with decent lead, even if i miss the last couple gates i could still win, sharply turned around a cornor and bumped into a rock and is somehow sent in a slow float about 20 ft in the air and watch the tight group pass me as i hopelessly float back down going nowhere ending up in 6th.

3 RepliesI grew up on Road Rash, Wipeout, Need For Speed, those close calls are just bad luck. I had a really good night. Third time playing and just hit S rank, plus picked up the book. I really like the racing segment in this game, I hope they add on or keep it around like IB. ;-)

I was trying to jump that portal, that launch pad at mars and I just went straight down. I was like "what the hell!? I was going 160km/h" and that's when I remember I have a helment that when I push the Left analog stick I go down faster. Also when I came to the blade part, some guy pushed me almost into one. The blade glitched and it ended up being in front of the other guy causing him to blow up on impact. And I landed on some guy on infinite descend after jumping off the cliff and I ended up pushing him off to the right side.

So the last 3 races I've been in have gone like this. Venus map: Got the lead on last lap. Got shot out of the time gate near the end sideways causing me to flip and die twice. Mars map: Leading last 2 laps. Make a clean pass thru the fans on last lap got removed from game world. Seriously pissed right now

About 30 seconds from what would have been my 2nd win after 15+ races (lol git gud scrub i know) and my bike decided that a tiny pebble in a wide open track was enough to bounce me in the air and kill my speed completely. Last place.

Love it when the huge fan blades glitch because of someone lagging and teleport in front of me when i'm leading on the last lap.

Was racing con venus with my 5 friends, i was 1st or 2nd and only one gate from the finish line, then one of muy friends slam me against the outer wall and everybody passes me.

Dont recall the map but I was in the lead by about 10 seconds. My controller decides to disconnect. Okay, no biggy, I'll still have the lead - nope. As soon as my controller connects, my character decides to get off his sparrow. As soon as I spawn, the controller disconnects again and he gets off again. Ended up in last cause of that bullshit. It wasn't due to low battery btw. I checked after and it was full, lol. And in general wtf shit. Aparently my Titan and his sparrow weigh about 10 pounds, since everyone seems to always get under my sparrow when they bump or drive into me.

I was in first on Mars, the second to last gate sent me into a frenzy and I flipped to my death. Blew up right before the finish line and lost=( I was ahead of everyone so idk how I got so off balanced.

Had the lead by A LOT the fan all of sudden jittered as I was going through and I got stuck! Not destoyed, stuck! Smh
