“Do I get to shoot and stab stuff?” Zara asked, kicking her feet up on to the table in habit. She realized what she was doing and quickly removed them, but not before there were two black marks where her feet had been.
Jaik looked confused.
“*She asked if she gets to kill stuff.*” Sasha translated for Jaik.
“Ah, yes. Of course! But leave Archon for Taikonaut and I….” Jaik huffed. Zara gave a quick nod.
“Ok. By the way, got anything around here to eat? I’m starving.” She asked, standing up and making her way towards the kitchen.
The translator clicked off. “Most of the good stuff is gone…” Sasha said, begrudgingly.
“What? What happened? Where’s all the bac-” Guardian saw the heap of ruined bacon. “Oh. Don’t worry, I’ll make more.”
“Really? Thanks!”
“Hey! I can cook, too!” Zara heated, looking in the refrigerator.
They both looked in disbelief. “Haha, yeah, right.” Sasha chuckled.
“I may not look it, but gimme a chance. I’ve never had anyone say otherwise.” Zara replied. “It’s about the only other thing I can do besides kill.” She proceeded to find an iron skillet.
“Got any peppers or steak? I can make amazing meat.”
“In the fridge.” Sasha replied, seriously doubting Zara’s cooking skills.
“I don’t see any…” Zara scanned the shelves.
“No, no… I mean that one.” Sasha pointed out the window at dave’s pod. “Anything that isn’t bacon goes over there.”
“Are we stealing food from someone?” Zara asked, setting down the skillet for a second.
“Haha, hell no. I’m the one who ‘remade’ Dave’s pod, over there.” She glanced at the makeshift pod. “I keep most of my non-essentials there. Even if we were stealing-” Her head swung forward, and she sprung up. “Crap! Danny still has my glimmer!”
Meanwhile…..
“So… Danny, I think it was?” Raiven said.
“Yes…” Danny was still in pain, after four days.
“Since your ghost can’t fix your… *ahem* ‘Jewels’, as you call them… We’ll need to operate.”
“Really? Why can’t she fix them?” Danny looked down.
“She said that ‘She’s a lady, and needs to be treated like one’.”
Danny looked up. “You can fix them? How?”
Raiven pulled out a pair of garden trimmers. Danny reeled back.
“AH!” He said, falling off the examination table.
Raiven looked at him, oddly. He walked over to the cabinet and pried it open. “These damn cabinets…” He said as they creaked open. Danny blushed. Raiven pulled out some surgical tools. “I’ll be operating on you.”
“Oh… how about, her?” Danny pointed past the window to a hot nurse, and ogled.
“Because that’s a wax model.” Raiven was getting testy.
Danny didn’t click, and continued ogling. “Aww….” He sighed. “When’s the operation?”
“Tuesday, but, it’ll cost you.” Raiven looked at his Datapad.
“How much?”
“Umm…. that’ll be 14000 glimmer.”
Danny’s eyes widened. He pulled all the glimmer he had from his pocket. He had ten cubes. “Is this enough?”
Raiven facepalmed and walked out.
Back to our ‘heroes’...
“Eh. He probably needs it more than I do, anyway.” Sasha looked forward.
“I could send more.” Guardian said, remembering his overflowing ship. “I’ve got more than enough. And with his accident, he’ll need it.”
There was a whooshing sound as Zara blinked out of the pod. She returned with all sorts of food.
“While you guys talk cash, I’m going to cook some steaks.” She tried to start the burners, but they just clicked and did nothing. “Hang on, gimme a sec…” Zara put a careful finger where the burner was and turned it on again; well, that’s what she intended. Her finger just melted it. “Heh-heh…” She chuckled, embarrassed. “That’s what I meant to do…”
“Just, let me.” Sasha directed some solar at the second burner and it chugged on.
“Ah, thanks, girl.” She said, popping her fingers. “I think I’ve got this whole ‘Taken burn’ figured out.” She picked up a red pepper. Immediately, the pepper started to burn black where her fingers were. Zara seemed to concentrate, and the pepper stopped burning. “Aha! Victory!”
And Zara started to cook.

“Hey, do you guys want ghost peppers or just jalapenos?” Zara asked, and a faint sizzling could be heard.
“Oh, just whatever…” Guardian mumbled, jealous. “What about you, Jaik?”
Jaik was still confused as heck at what was being said. Ghost then altered his helmet’s speakers so he could hear english. Jaik then knew what was being said. Most of the time.
“If you guys want some SPIIIIIIIIIIIIIICAAAAAAAAAY PAPPERS, just ask, this girl!” Zara said, excitedly.
Jaik became more confused.
|======================|
Suddenly, a delicious smell began to tickle Sasha’s nostrils. She breathed in deeply, and the sizzling grew louder as Zara set.
“That… actually smells good.” Guardian admit. Sasha didn’t want to, her pride consumed her. But, the smell was really invading her.
She put her helmet on, to not get too tempted.
“Why’d you put that on?” Guardian said.
“Just want some fresher air.” She lied.
Zara finished ten minutes later. “All right, we’re done!” She put the steaks on some of Sasha’s plates and handed them out. Jaik was confused.
“Guar-” He realized her name. “Zaara, I cannot take off my ether breather or I will die…”
“Oh.” Zara looked at the plate. “I guess-”
“I can have it!” Guardian raised his hand, and everyone (But Jaik) was shocked to see an empty plate.
“Holy crap, Ha-” Sasha coughed, and everyone checked if she was okay. “*Ahem...* Um, how did you finish so quick?” She took off her helmet and began to eat. Ohmygod. Sasha thought. This isn’t as good as bacon, but it’s still amazing!
Guardian got the extra plate, and as soon as he did, he picked it up with his fork and ate the whole thing in one bite. Even Jaik’s four eyes widened.
“What the f-”
