Does anyone know how capitalism works?
First thing any company cares about is profit. Why is this a surprise?

Yes but it's bad ethic and bad for business (money) to shit on your player base. You could say "just let them sink then and waste all their money", however, most of us are die hard bungie fans from halo and we don't want to see this ship sink.

Understood but realize. Weapons you get in game through quests or RNG take a back seat to broken items you pay for out of pocket through micro transactions

Or keeping your demographic around for the 10 years you plan on making the series. Yaknow, not driving away players in droves??

Any MMO, which I don't think Destiny should be called but whatever, is not only a time out but can also be a money pit, only if you choose to let it be. They have to time content just right to stay profitable and keep things fresh. There have been a lot of great ideas on how to fix destiny to where there are things to do without it getting stale but in all honesty all MMOs get stale. Even playing ESO, they have released two DLCs since it came out but even with new content it's still a grind and the new content isn't as rich as the price for it. If Bungie laid out a plan and released everything at one time and said, "Ok, here are the 3 raids and all additional content. Our next release will be a year and a half from now." It's a damned if you do, damned if you don't. The main problem is console gamers are use to getting all the content at once then moving on to a different game a few weeks or months later. As far as weapon balancing goes, I'm inly guessing they need a rather large sample size to see exactly which weapons are broken and OP or broken and useless. Those that complain on the forums are a small minority to the overall player base. Now why Bungie can't get weapon balancing right or close to it? I have no clue but this last update was very much needed.
