SRL Racing. Being a bro.
Had one race where we reached the finish line and the people (myself included) that were in first second and third all stopped and waited for fourth fifth and sixth to cross the finish line.
I had already finished the quest line so pretty much stopped caring what position I get in the races.
Makes it much more enjoyable.
I have also reached the point where I will wait about 20 seconds after everyone else has left to start the race myself to decrease the chances I crash into you unless you did something to annoy me in which case I will return the favour.
It's good to see just how many good people are out there. Just goes to show that not everyone that plays destiny is a vicious poison spitter that lives in their parents basement.

1 ReplyAny suggestions for lessening air time? for some reason, any time i end up airborne, i loose speed and fall slower than most to get back said lost speed. obviously minimizing hitting things that launch you would be a good place to start but even that isnt proving enough. is there somthing i can do? or is it a mechanic and on bungie's end? with all the collision physics complaints/issues, im not sure....

I admit after I finished the quest the next couple races I sat sideways at some gates and went backwards toward the others. Then I just did tricks and let others win.

1 ReplyI kinda do the same thing. I'll try my best the whole race, and just stop before the finish line. Also tend to dance in trials, or hang with a full team of friends in Iron Banner and let ourselves get wrecked. In a game where RNG, luck, and shitty connections seem to define "skill", kinda like tossing people free wins sometimes.

I wish people did that in my games a rarely finish higher than 4th and I'm stuck on the 3 wins for s class I only have one

12 RepliesFunny story for you .. My friend zack won every race since Srl came in I was always second. One game a friend joined us he asked us to let him win I was like aite.. Zack was one minute ahead I was 30 sec behind our friend Ray was 3rd place with everyone else. Ray told sack just let him win, sack said okay, I told sack don't Ray still has a chance so zack stopped he waited when I got near the finishing line , I flew past him like the flash, after that he left, deleted me, told me to kill myself and I never heard from him again. Ray he just laughed

I do the exact same thing! If I see all other races without the new emblem then I stop at the end and just do donuts. I've actually received a few messages saying thankyou before, it feels quite good.

Started doing that now. I get a lot of honks and I think I did some good. Plus, this SRL is a lot of fun.

5 Replieswhy is my sparrow so much slower than everyone elses. ive not finish one match yet. im last out the gate. by the time i get to lap 3 someone has already finished. im not crashing or hitting curves wrong. . ive tried a 150 sparrow with bust and a 160 sparrow without and im still nowhere near the pack. HELPPPPPPPP.
