The point is there's bugs in the game that take months and months to fix if at all...But somehow, they were able to fix that in a day. I mean, their motivation is obvious and understandable from a business POV...but drawing attention to this is 100% NECESSARY...bc it's gotta go both ways *I guess there's a bug with boot engrams which makes them not always decrypt into anything-- let's see how long it takes them to patch that! If you think about it, they're potentially [i]stealing[/i] from anybody who didn't happen to see their patch notes and encountered the bug...

"-blam!-en moron" from the guy that spent $10 for what Bungie literally called vanity gear. You paid real money for 16 "challenges" that people do naturally in their races so you can have some armor that other people don't have. I can literally shade my armor and look just as different from someone as you can. Furthermore, the thorn fix and other game breaking glitches were left alone for months that all had simple fixes, ie lowering DOT to 3. By defending Bungie for patching something as trivial as a book that will be around for 3 weeks, costs $10 and gives you maybe 8 rewards that could have just as easily been free, you perpetuate the problem of Bungie releasing more and more "content" that poor saps like you will pay for because Bungie has you hooked so far to the point where you have the audacity to come here and insult every single player in the thread just because your boots were more expensive than the next guy's. So with that I bid you a good day and go -blam!- yourself

Don't get upset because I have expendable income and you don't. I can feel that jealousy it's unbecoming really. I'm no fan boy and I'm not defending bungie, it's just astounding to see all these morons (you including) upset because they fixed something that was affecting their paying customers. God forbid they fix something that is gonna cost them money, after all its a -blam!-en business.

First of all I do have a disposable income. Just about every player here does otherwise they don't have the game. Second, nowhere did I ever say that I had the gear because quite frankly I didn't care. And third, sure they were protecting their "paying customers," but something as minute and trivial could have been free for the both of us. The fact that you are so naive as to pay money for the same armor and sparrow that I have in a different color is pathetic and shows me and a lot of gamers in general how blindly this community follows Bungie. This time last year, Bungie would have given this to us for free because back then one armor set didn't matter. But they let activision get to them because activision knows how to play fools like you and activision knows that you will go keyboard warrior on anyone that disagrees with their business practices because you are so gullible to believe that spending money on armor that is "useful" for only 3 weeks will enhance your gaming experience
