Book fixed in 24 hours, yet thorn took 8 months to fix, bungie cares about $ not players- 30 DOLLARS FOR LEVEL UPS ON PSN STORE LOL
Amazing how fast they put out a patch late at night to fix their wallet yet still screw over thousands of players with broken game mechanics. Hell, since TTK released the raid has had multiple bugs yet they go unfixed. Bungie in danger of losing some 10 dollar sales on their TWO MAP, ONE MODE "FREE EVENT"? patch overnight.
If you still support them after this you're nothing but a silver sucking desticle.
EDIT: let's see you defend bungie now, children. Cosmetics only, right guys? Paying for free dlc, right guys? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Shout out to people who waited months to get all 50 fragments and only got a timegated shader LOL

You call people Desticles, but you are on the Destiny forums, so naturally there would be players who support the game and its creators here. You say it like it is an insult, when in reality it means I support a game I love, so I give the word a positive connotation.

you do realize to patch the books its probably a simple code to change A map change takes forever, for example rendering out a simple rock in their map can take up to 30 hours (rendering process loading map etc.)

I think they do care about players, and do care about the product. But they also do need to make money. You have a valid point about how quickly this one got fixed. I'm curious.. have you bought any silver or do you plan to? I have bought some.. as well as the $20 legendary pack that came out when TTK released.. I don't regret it.. I feel like I always get my money out of Destiny.. I can't say the same for many other AAA games I have bought. Where do u stand on this... are you never going to buy silver?

2 RepliesYou can not compare the two. Imagine if when ttk dropped there was an issue with the game that made it possible for you to play all ttk content without purchasing the game. While that does hurt bungies bottom line it is also unfair to those who purchased ttk. To fix it asap is in their best interest for both reasons. While Bungie has made more then a few mistakes recently this one I can not hold against them for fixing in such a fast manner. As for people claiming they only did it so fast because it hurts their revenue, you do have to remember they are a business. You can not be in business to break even or go into the red.

Doesn't however justify releasing broken or bad content that takes 6 months to fix. Sunbreaker being a fine example. And don't act like they didn't have time to do this before ttk even came...

There is a difference between a balance patch and hot fix. I am not defending them, Thorn took forever. But let's not forget how fast the insta gg or super hammer glitches were fixed. But get it through your thick skulls that Bungie is not an evil corporation out to get you. And if you do believe so you can just quit, which would save other, sane people a shitload of grief. Titan striker fix took well over a year. Money was not at stake. Don't get me wrong, I like Eververse and have already spent real $ on silver... and have no regrets Just pointing out the facts.

Seeing as how the entire free content is the same as another game I've seen somewhere around and just recently came out a while back (GTA 5.) It seems pretty strange how said other game is not selling exclusive content for dollars, the only microtransactions they have is in game money, and the content isn't exclusive to any console (Except for current gen consoles, sorry last gen.
