Sniper Rifles are the new meta
Thanks bungie for making the worst "weapon balance" ever. I'd rather get killed by a shot gun up close and personal then get sniped from across the map the entire game.

2 RepliesIt sucks because all the nerf babies have basically made snipers the best secondary option. Shotguns have been hit so hard by nerfs that they have the same range as a melee attack. Sidearms are okay. Fusion rifles....well Bungie has been killing them since they first buffed shotguns.

4 RepliesFirst off snipers are suppose to snipe across the map. They are made for sniping? Hints sniper rifles. Secondly the only thing they should do is remove the hidden hand perk, if your skilled enough or man/women enough to call yourself a skilled sniper you don't need a crutch to help you aim better. Third play smart use your environment and covers. I out smart snipers be my shade step to covers and my blink to building doors. Just instead of crying because a person is better at sniping then you are and crying for that genre of weapon to be nerfed. Adapt to your and their play styles see what throws them off find a weakness and build on it.

3 RepliesNow that literally everyone is sniping the gameplay is slow and you can't utilize the other weapons against them. It's officially snipe or be sniped. This is the only fps to be dominated by sniper rifles because of ease of use and no counter. It's low risk high reward camping unless another sniper takes you out.

As a long standing sniper since the alpha I love it! it makes it even easier to get triple feeds and collats when all people are doing is hard scoping in the back of the map focusing on one spot all game rather than being pushed by shotgunners. Get up close and most of them have no idea what to do, its good fun.
