Since There is No New Expansion, Let's Make One!
While Sparrow Racing is cool, it really left an empty hole in my chest which I had specifically saved for a new expansion. Don't get me wrong, love the new gametype, but I was eager to see the Destiny Universe expand story wise.
So, I come to the Destiny Forums with a proposition: we create our own expansion from the ground up. This place is pretty creative (yes, even coming up with new ideas to nerf everything can be considered creative...), so let's get started!
[b]Vote for What Kind of Enemy you want the Expansion to focus around,[/b] and, if you feel like it, [b]comment below what you want the Expansion to be named![/b] I will choose several of the most popular ones and make another poll about it.
To follow along, just follow the Tag #MakeAnExpansion.
I think that this is going to be interesting to see what the Community is going to come up with. Make sure to Like the post as well to get the steam going! The more people in on this the better! (Or don[url=http://i.imgur.com/mSHi8.jpg?fb]'[/url]t, I'm a sign, not a cop).

Id prefer something new... never found the cabal that interesting. And please take me out of this solar system it's getting repetitive. Show me alien planets in far off galaxies.

2 RepliesEdited by Væ: 12/11/2015 7:16:05 AMTitle - Idk something having to do with outside the Solar System The expansion should be centered around the cabal launching a full scale invasion of the solar system with us killing all of their command in TTK and the Cabal getting a last minute signal out to The Cabal Empire. It could start of with them coming in and just destroying the reef (since the queens dead) and thus removing the vestian outpost as a social space. Then it could go on to them trying wanting to take complete control over Mars and thus attempt to destroy the black garden. Once this fails the Cabal resort to just trying to blow up Mars but they don't and only half succeed leaving mars with a giant gash and split into chunks. After wards would be Earth (we'll skip venus so we can save that for a Vex DLC) Since the Cabal didn't learn their lesson on Mars and still don't know not to try a Full Scale attack they make landing on Earth in the (European or Any Other) dead zone. Where from there launch an attack on the City which means we actually have to defend it (!) and fight in the streets and along the walls (Thank you Titans). After our victory we assess the losses and then find out that the Cabal are going to Crash the Moon into the Earth (raid) and that the Emperor himself is overseeing operation there Bungie Pls i just handed you the plot for Destiny 2 EDIT: Plus add in Space Combat it would fit EDIT 2: To fit this can take place about a year or 2 after TTK so everything can look nice and new and different like the Tower and Also to replace the Vestian Outpost we made Phobos into a base of our own.

The emperor comes to Mars as they have no ranking soldiers in the system. We have to go to a new place in Mars for the raid to stop the emperor creating/activating a new warming and turning rasputin weaponry on us

8 RepliesI wanna meet Quria. The damn thing simulated Oryx before he was Oryx. I could definitely see it simulating us before we became guardians. Maybe take us back before the Collapse or maybe even during.

It's not necessarily what I want, but I think cabal would make the most sense.
