Jonathan looks up, pulling an earbud out. "Sup brah?"
-
"I see your doing history work, did we have homework?"
-
He chuckles. "Yeah, page 252. You need to see mine?" He holds up his paper.
-
"I thought we did that in class though?"
-
"Nah man, she gave us homework too." He chuckles.
-
"Well crap, I'll have to do that later. Oh, um I'm Allister Castle, by the way."
-
"Jonathan. Or John, Johnny, whatever." He fist bumps him. "You can just copy mine if you want."
-
-He fist bumps- "Oh thanks. So why are you at this school?"
-
"Daddy dearest decided I needed to make some friends outside of NYC."
-
-He smiles- "Same here, my dad said I need to socialize and make friends my own age."
-
John nods. "Yeah, it's not as bad as I thought it would be though."
-
-He shrugs- "I'm not much of a student, I'm a swordsman after all. What about you are you a fighter?"
-
Edited by Will: 12/9/2015 10:24:12 PM He chuckles. "My dad's the best Swordsman in the world. I prefer knives and daggers though. And I'm not a big fan of fighting if I can help it."
-
"The best swordsman in the world? Is your father Lance May, by any chance?"
-
He grins. "The one and only."
-
"He trained my father. And I would've thought you would use swords like he does."
-
He shrugs. "I can use anything with a blade. I just like shorter and faster weapons. Who's your dad?"
-
"My father is Zoren Castle."
-
John grins. "My dads told me about him."
-
"Really? What has he told you about my dad?"
-
"That he was one of the only people he'd ever taught to this day, and was proud of it."
-
-He grins- "I wonder if he knew what my father was like before he trained with Lance?"
-
John's face frowns. "Yeah, he did. He dug up some stuff after a while."
-
"Really? He knew that my father was a mercenary and a merciless one at that? Did it change your father's opinion of him?"
-
John shakes his head. "Nope. My dad doesn't care about people's pasts. He of all people knows what that's about."
