Edit: don't waste your time, skip to the parts where I go Super.
Well everyone is complaining about how Bladedancers got pooned or something. My argument is: TRAIN, GET BETTER, BEAT ANYONE.
This is a Blink technique developed by my clanmate Jeester27 which we have used throughout year 1, and it feels like a good time to share it with the world. I'm just sick of seeing people misuse the BD and just keep swinging and swinging their Arc Blade and end up looking like idiots when you get shot in the face by anyone competent.
Hone this skill, and it'll save your life. And you might have some fun along the way!
Here is another look at it:

Videos like this inspire me to a buy a PS4 and see if the rumors are true.

Bungie intended subclasses to offer 3 paths to success. Claiming two of those paths as wrong because one of them works is exactly what's wrong. Hit detection is broken. Damage resistance is practically non-existent. Movement is not at all improved. Want a slap in the face on top of it? I forgot which quest it's for, but Zavala says that Titans can't match the velocity of a Bladedancer. Are you kidding me? Titans are the fastest class. I'm not saying they should be nerfed in to slow moving giants, but hunters need serious speed buff. And in reality it's AGILITY needs to have a noticeable affect. Armor. With high armour you can survive a trip mine. 194 damage. And you walk away. Recovery. I don't have exact numbers, but I feel so secure with high recovery, I dip behind cover and I'm already ready for action. Agility. Literally, does it actually do something? Me and a friend tested MIDA+ agility back in TDB by running from one end of the Divide to the other, the difference was so god Damn pathetically small. Hunters are the only one who actually struggle on the jump puzzle, they require an exotic, that thank god got brought up, just to compete with jumping of other classes.

Nice gameplay. I've seen people use it this way before and I agree it is under utilized. There is also something to be said before how fast this form of movement is in conjunction with the perk that increases slide distance plus a weapon that does it too. The back of your uniform may get dirty but the space you cover is amazing in the situations they apply.

Edited by LEAFSreborn555: 12/13/2015 6:01:00 PMLol I learned this almosst immeidately after using blink. The fact you guys think its innovative and your clan developed it.....wow.....just......wow...... I need to sit down. Idiots like you prolly think walking and talking at the same time is revolutionary.
-
Well done, you figured out how to use bladedance. Clown
-
tf did I just watch? Was that supposed to be interesting or good? You didn't change anything. Anyone that wasn't already using bladedancer swings for speed is more than likely bad at the game. This is old news

I'm confused. I thought this is what you're supposed to do in arc blade?

Edited by Sazomi: 12/12/2015 6:26:44 AM"Developed by my clanmate"..... No....this is a technique that your clanmate showed you.... Anyone with half a brain could figure this out. You guys gave it a cool name that is all. All this is, is forward blinking while blade dance is active. The first time I saw forward blinking was back in the shotgun, felwinters era. I'm shooting some guy and all of a sudden he blinks and instead of being above me, he went horizontally into my face and shotgunned me. After that match I went to practice blinking to see how he did it. Didn't take long to figure out.

You kinda suck
-
Blade Dancers aren't Hunters.
-
I wish blink jump would be erased from the game. I have never, and will never, used it.

*frightens thread*

Bump for later (just one)
-
lol wat
-
Been doing that ever since I unlocked blink
-
Been using this technique for as long as I've mained blade dancer. Yeeeeeeeee
-
I doubt you created this technique with that low medal score. A lot of people have been doing this for a long time
-
Surprised people actually are smart with their blinks in arc blade. Been doing that since I mained it.
-
Okay... Still needs a buff and fix to hit registration lol
-
Was doing this year 1 lol Use blink to move around in bladedancer not your slashes Blink straight above people, land behind them, slash back Hungering blade
-
Did somebody say...
pooned?
Nice for the noobs. I figured it out by week 5 after release.
