[i] Jonathan sat on the rooftop of the school admin building, doing homework and listening to music as usual. He enjoyed the view and loved heights, just like his dad. He looked out at the parking lot, where students milled about to their cars and their different cliques.[/i]

-He jumps onto the roof, quickly siting down and writing in a notebook-

[i] Jonathan sees him, chuckling at his entrance and goes back to doing his history homework.[/i]

-Allister looks at him, and walks over.- "Excuse me?"

[i]Jonathan looks up, pulling an earbud out.[/i] "Sup brah?"

"I see your doing history work, did we have homework?"

[i] He chuckles.[/i] "Yeah, page 252. You need to see mine?" [i] He holds up his paper.[/i]

"I thought we did that in class though?"

"Nah man, she gave us homework too." [i] He chuckles.[/i]

"Well crap, I'll have to do that later. Oh, um I'm Allister Castle, by the way."

"Jonathan. Or John, Johnny, whatever." [i] He fist bumps him.[/i] "You can just copy mine if you want."

-He fist bumps- "Oh thanks. So why are you at this school?"

"Daddy dearest decided I needed to make some friends outside of NYC."

-He smiles- "Same here, my dad said I need to socialize and make friends my own age."

[i] John nods.[/i] "Yeah, it's not as bad as I thought it would be though."

-He shrugs- "I'm not much of a student, I'm a swordsman after all. What about you are you a fighter?"

"He trained my father. And I would've thought you would use swords like he does."

[i] He shrugs.[/i] "I can use anything with a blade. I just like shorter and faster weapons. Who's your dad?"

"My father is Zoren Castle."

"Really? What has he told you about my dad?"

"That he was one of the only people he'd ever taught to this day, and was proud of it."
