No Land Beyond, "the worst weapon in destiny" is now year 2 and not a thing seems to be changed at first glance. It would seem that the title may stick till the end of time. How to fix this gun in a way that wont turn it into Icebreaker 2.0? First: The lens flare, just no. It has iron sights, i do not think it should flare, so what if you can stealth shot ppl in crucible? 1. Isnt that the point of a sniper? 2. Have you SEEN how fast you get hunted down after doming someone with NLB? Do or dont, not a super big deal. Second: The perks, a little lackluster if you ask me. Since flared magwell's nerf, that seems to be no longer an option, and snapshot only serves the run n' gun crucible strategy of this weapon. Not sure what should be done there but mulligan definitely could be subbed for something else, my thoughts were Perfectionist or Performance Bonus. Third: The exotic perk, it doesnt seem to do much. Putting a time limit on ANYTHING sniper-related is a questionable move, and "The Master" does nothing for this gun's crucible standing, perhaps if it could stack until a reload but only on precision kills. and be a one-shot body at like 2 or 3. Lastly: The damage, in some way shape or form, for pve at least, seems to be far less than it should be for an exotic, again, not sure what to do here but something of a buff would be nice. all in all: Kinda dissapointed almost nothing (maybe just that) was changed to help a fantastic idea of a weapon actually become usable, and not just a joke.
