Until I saw this video and said it's free? Hell it's worth a try. To my surprise it was everything stated in the video. It actually made me think to myself why did I spend all this money on this game (Destiny). When Warframe was free all this time SMH? #OP is preaching the truth!!

2 RepliesI first played this game a while back and stopped because I thought the same pay to win. Them I came back and actually took the time to understand how building gear works and this game blows destiny out of the water. All you need is some patience at the start. I now have 5 warframes built l my first prime weapon and almost have my first prime warframe....for free..yes you CAN spend $60 to get it. Or just farm the pieces which is MUCH more forgiving RNG then destiny. Ive only been back paying about a week. Overall there is absolutely zero reason to pay a dime out of pocket unless you a want something faster...there is nothing you can buy that cant be found in game or crafted...just takes work and patience. Also....join a clan.....huge help and community is awesome plus there is trading now.

6 RepliesTakes forever to get things that people can buy with real money to get in an instant(a big NO for me) overly complicated, visually unappealing, very unenjoyable combat....oh did I mention that all the best stuff can be bought, and the best players got that way because of their wallets? No thanks. I'll just...not play either of the games anymore

1 ReplyI've clocked over 1000+ hours on Warframe. I've been there since day one open beta. I've seen it change, evolve over years. It's an amazing game. Smooth gameplay if your pc can handle it. On of unique weapons. And not long ago. DE released a build your own textures and we'll see about putting it in game. Warframe has a large community. It's free to play. You have options to skip the grind to just buy the new weapon. But that's boring. Destiny. Great game play. I prefer 1st person. I love the loot system. But you pay for dlc. It's not free to play. And the story is about none existent as warframe.

On the subject of pay to win... [spoiler]Tldr: Pay to win =/= Pay for convinecd [/spoiler] The way item unlocks works is you have to level up your player master to unlock new weapons, this apples to paying cash from them. You gain mastery from doing missions and levelling up weapons, Warframes and companions. If we are both the same mastery level, there is [i]nothing[/i] in this game that you can buy that I can't build. And on platinum, it can be uptained in game semi-easily if RNJesus loves you. Most players use platinum as currency and you can earn them by selling stuff that drops for you. You can also get som from logging in. The only thing that I can't get with platinum is cosmetics.

And for people saying p2win what exactly are you winning pvp uses separate mods and only allows certain WF's you can't buy from the store pve isn't difficult unless you're doing a survival to like an hour with or without mods so that leaves cosmetics which you can buy in destiny as well so is it really p2w

Edit I've played both games but I recently got bored of destiny. But a lot of those claims don't make sense. "Guardians" in the destiny cannot walk on walls because they don't have the power too. At least that's what I believe. I can go on for a while about all the claims that don't make sense.

Love both prefer destiny. Warframe was kind of hard to figure out without having someone to walk through it with you. Although the game has gotten a lot better

Eh, I hope everyone Enjoyed the game. Everyone's entitled go their opinion. To me though, the gameplay is just really clunky and choppy. It's more about collecting and rarity then actual combat gameplay. But again just my opinion. Side note, this game proves you can make a great game on low budget, and still have great f2p content without cutting out those who don't want to pay to win.
