Basically Bungie is attempting to make their fanbase population smaller by removing the players who are willing to spend $ on anything Destiny. For those who remain, they aim to bleed them out of every possible dollar they own.

It's kind of terrible that it's starting to seem this way. I like Destiny. I really do. But this whole deal with with the micro transactions is a slippery slope, and I truly hope that it's not the direction that this game will be going in the future.
