I understand completely. Even if Bungie is trying to get in on the whole REQ thing, the main differences between that and this new system are that, A: once you unlock a vanity item you have it forever, and it doesn't unlock twice, and B: you can actually earn REQ points in-game for free, it just takes a very long time to get the bigger packs. If Bungie makes Eververse so that you have a large chance of actually wasting money without a reward, that's just messed up.
