yeah, if this is the case (and it likely is) I'm done with Tess, sadly, unless they give us a way to earn silver in game.

I understand completely. Even if Bungie is trying to get in on the whole REQ thing, the main differences between that and this new system are that, A: once you unlock a vanity item you have it forever, and it doesn't unlock twice, and B: you can actually earn REQ points in-game for free, it just takes a very long time to get the bigger packs. If Bungie makes Eververse so that you have a large chance of actually wasting money without a reward, that's just messed up.

I think it's more like how you can't buy Y1 Exotics anymore, but can gamble on getting them in Legacy Engrams. So if you want any of the current ones, get them now.

You can buy year one exotic weapons from the weapon kiosk dude

IF you already had them, prior to Y2. If you haven't unlocked them, then you can't get them from that Kiosk.

Yeah. Same as the kiosk for Emotes that's kinda hidden in the Lounge area.
