So you may have already run out of things to do on Destiny.
If you like something "new" to do you could try this "game mode".
So you may be asking, what is this " Survival mode"
On the Crota's end raid at the last part were you form the bridge instead of going towards the light you turn around and you'll see the 3 lamps that are on that part, that's where the Survival mode takes place.
There an endless swarm of enemies will greet you ready to kill you.
The lamp to the right is were you start, that is the easiest side of the three, each lamp is a side.
Our rules are:

Each 5 min you have to change sides.
You can screw with your teammates to be the final champion of the Survival.
Now there are the two difficulties:
Normal: Team based survival, how long can you fight the darkness before it gets you?

Heroic: Individual based survival, be the last guardian and conquer the darkness.

[b]TURBOGERMAN:[/b] Nightfall - One player's death will end it all.
[b]Dinklebot:[/b] Dinklebot - After each kill, you must deploy your ghost for a split second. For multikills deploy it for longer.

[b]Red:[/b] Red's challenge -Melee only and crouch only.
[b]MEMxxLEGEND:[/b] Our House Now - Only Crota's End weapons and gear are allowed to be used.
[b]Gamma:[/b] Slice and Dice - Blade dancers only, encore only, show stopper only, skip grenades only, melee only, mask of the third mman as exotic armor, no invisibility, max intellect.
[b]Lord Saladin:[/b] Saint-14's challenge - Ward of Dawn and melee's only.

[b]Chalice Holder:[/b]
Get a team of 6 and do Crota normal mode until Crota himself. Start the fight.
Objective is to hold the Chalice as long as possible. If you hold it, try to flee from your team mates which can steal it from you. Mates try to steal the chalice from each other all the time. When somebody dies, just wipe and on the Deathscreen you can see who's the winner by looking at the time somebody hold the chalice.
Now this isn't a complete game mode and you most likely will have fun with it a few hours but its a nice small thing to do in Destiny.

Feel free to include the following locations for your challenge Templar's Well The Abyss (included by OP) Golgoroth's area (What ever it's called) (That way you don't have to create any new assets) Waves of enemies. Ultra every 5 waves. Real Boss every 10 (think enemies like you find in The Court of Oryx, each with some mechanic necessary to beat them) The party starts with enemies at 260 light moving up to 300 (Normal mode) or 290 moving up to 320 (Hard mode) The Hard mode variant includes OPs victory modifiers. (This should be labeled in the director so that everyone knows what to bring) To make things more interesting.... perhaps we don't allow players to change their equipment once enemies begin to spawn. So whatever you're wearing when you start the event is what you're stuck with until your whole team dies (Return to Orbit), or reach some maximum number of waves. Perhaps introduce a loot drop from the boss right every 20 rounds. Meaning that the 1st round 10 boss won't drop anything outside the normal strike loot table. The 2nd round 10 boss (this would be the round 20 boss) is guaranteed legendary drop (engram or survival specific weapons/armor.... feel free to NOT include the engram, i bet everyone would like this more) Exotic chest every 50 rounds. (Meaning a chest that MAY (50%) include an exotic item in addition to normal chests of raid-tier quality) [b][/b]
