We need a hoard mode a non-stop fight with intermediate random boss fights and modifiers that constantly increase the difficulty up to nightfall level and beyond.
Have three modes :
1) single player
2) three players
3) six players
This would add a challenging high stakes draw for all players and something to fill the time void between resets.

Three player teams face strike bosses, POE bosses and story bosses.
Six player teams face strike bosses, POE bosses, and raid bosses.

And rewards will be based off how much enemies you killed, the time you survived and the level of the enemies, like say you survived for 30 minutes, you get either a rare or uncommon, if you survive for 1 hour you get either an rare or legendary, etc.
