I love this idea! I mean this is one of the cooler ideas ever presented on Destiny. It reminds me of Firefight. O, glorious ODST Firefight how I love you.

Boy, what does this say about your creative department? Community members making up their own endgame game modes to make up for the lack of endgame activities/endgame activities that were ripped away when TTK dropped. The real question is what do you intend to do from here? I mean here we have groups of Guardians doing nothing but standing in front of gaping darkness shooting endlessly at continuously spawning enemies. Sound familiar? So what will your excuse be this time? Oh I know, why not recycle what you've said in the past, with a few tweaks here and there:
"The social experience of a survival game mode is amazing: the herding to get a team of Guardians all behind the line and firing in the right direction, the rush when you nearly die by a pack of thralls, the scramble when you are the last alive, the beckoning glow from the doorway behind you. The speed at which the community organized around this activity was inspiring and humbling to us.
But shooting at a black hole for hours on end isn't our dream for how Destiny is played. Our hope is that social engagement in public spaces is only one part of the Destiny experience. Expect changes soon which will despawn all the thrall after the bridge has been completely formed."
