Hey Hunters...
How are you guys liking Nightstalker in terms of the other classes? I think it's loads of fun in both pvp and pve

Edited by TrulyDontCare: 11/30/2015 5:22:52 PMI love it. Shadow Shot isn't so great in PvP, but the smoke bombs and shade step more than make up for it. It's amazing in PvE, though. One shot with Blood Bound can clear out a huge mob of powerful enemies and produce a -blam!-load of orbs.

I like it a lot. I play almost exclusively pve, so that's the point of view I'm speaking of.

it's pretty good in pve but the tether delay makes it not even worth using to me in pvp.

Love it in PvE. I use bad juju with it and produce orbs that litter the ground.

Its fun to use now and then, but golden gun will always be my go to choice.

Most used for raid since support, and little overuse in PvP (Most used super for hunters at the moment I believe)

Personally I think it's unfortunate that it's as strong as it is in pve, cause you'll never use either of the other two classes. It's decent in crucible if a little wonky, but I prefer gunslinger. It totally viable though.

As a Sunbreaker, they're my best friends! As a Defender I hate their guts.

It's the perfect class to play with randoms. Monte Carlo with sealed ahamkaras.....I can cloak the entire team almost at will. It's a really strong pve class. In pvp id say it's beat out by the other two.

It's okay. I've used it for all of Year 2 ToO and have done pretty okay so far but really need to try gunslinger again. 2 smokes with the sealed grasps are just too good! [spoiler]RIP in peace blade dancer[/spoiler]

Its a well rounded class for pvp and pve

I use it all the time in pve but it's not that great for pvp. Yes, shadestep and keen scout is a great combo but since the super itself doesn't shut down other supers immediately, it isn't good in pvp. Now, if we had a better grenade and maybe a perk that allowed grenades and melee to charge faster while super is charged, then nightstalker might have some pvp potential.

3 RepliesEdited by Dooodley: 11/30/2015 1:43:47 PMLove it in PvE. Never use it in PvP. If they had extended the timer for quiver I might have considered it in PvP. At the moment the enemies basically need to stand on top of eachother or you won't successfully be able to use all arrows.

1 ReplyAt first, Nightstalker was great because it was new. I've gone back to Gunslinger. Still use Nightstalker in KF though.
