I swear people make me laugh so much. You do realize this is bungies game and they have all the rights over it and also does activision right? People want to turn destiny into something it's not and they expect bungie to do it like if they're our bitches.
Quite literally any time someone makes a suggestion of any kind is wanting Destiny to become something its not: Better. They expect them to do it because it is a legitimately good idea that would make them more money. No one expects these things to be implemented in any modicum of time, especially considering how minute any and all changes made by Bungie actually are.
If you want this so bad make your own game and change the name and just reskin the enemies and implement everything you're requesting and tell me how well it turns out. People bitch and bitch but they keep playing destiny and giving it money like pathetic morons. My dog is smarter and if he doesn't like something he lets it be and moves on.
First, copyright. No one wants to get sued unless they know its going to fail on their opponent's part and they can counter sue. Second, im pretty sure if more of the extremely reasonable ideas that people had that were on this forum were in "Destiny" , let alone a handful, it would be much, much more popular as it would have lived up to its hype better. People "bitch" because quite literally, every major and most minor changes made to this game were made because of how players of Destiny reacted and gave feedback. "Bitching" is simply a more vulgar sort of feedback that should be easily discernible as to whether or not the ideas that the individual has are valid or not.Yes, people keep playing Destiny and "bitch" about it. Changes dont get made if people don't talk about it, nor do many consider that "bitching" valid if you aren't playing the game, for some bizarre reason, as this would apply to real world critics if that logic persisted. This does not mean, obviously, that just because it is a popular idea that it is not a bad idea. No need to point them out when all you need do is scroll through the new tab for posts on the Destiny tag for the forums; good and bad examples are easy to find.Your dog is not smarter for leaving something alone, he is simpler. Mankind isn't going to just abandon something because we don't like it or its hard, we will simply find ways to improve upon it. There's a good reason we are the dominant species on this mudball we call home.
You idiots in the other hand bitch and hate the product (destiny) yet play it and keep throwing money at it. I've never meet such an entitled community with great ideas with such a bad communication and presentation. "Bungie do your job" they're job isn't being mommy and daddy to serve you everything you demand and want.
Again, hate on the problems of the product to emphasize that improvements that others are suggesting. Not everyone is going to have ways to improve it, but neither would those that had those ideas care for the improvement, or consider it as such. The problem here is that you see the "community" as a whole, when in reality you cant. You seriously, honestly, cannot. No one can. This would require you to see each and every post in existence to understand it as a "whole" and you'd have to be non bias towards or against any of it. "bad communication and presentation"? In the instance of this post, i see neither. S/Hes quite clear about how s/hes presenting his/her ideas. Also, "mommy and daddy" didn't get paid 60 - 140 (depending on how stuff was bought) upon us being introduced into the world, nor do they continuously ask for more if we want select current features that existed in our first year of introduction to that world.
Can you log into destiny? Can you do activities? Are you getting your rewards? Yes? OK than they are doing their job. Sure the servers sometimes fail but hey shit happens and it happens to everything that's technology based. You guys remind me of fat people that complain about being fat yet they're ordering everything in the menu from Mcdonalds.
For instance, if im just "doing my job" at a Mcdonalds, since you wish to use such an example, no one can complain if i do only the bare minimum of preparing your food, taking your order, and giving your food you ordered to you after the appropriate transaction has occurred, can they? I can be reclusive, i could look bored, angry, almost unresponsive. Im doing what my job specifically is, so by your logic i cant be fired just because the customer doesn't like me.Reality is that i could be fired because im not doing whats expected of me, which is more than the bare minimum; that i should do all that i can to get return business and to spread our business. Bungie created a minimum viable product as a secondary beta test to slowly but surely increase the quality of Destiny over time, when there are many, many things they could have done better and different had they only listened to the community over the course of these last 15 months.I and many others understand that the "big" changes and quite honestly most of the changes that Bungie could be wanting to implement are quite simply not possible to be made in a timely manner or within the current game.
The other funny part is people don't realize how hard this kind of stuff would be to put into the game and the coding behind it. They think bunige will just swing their dicks and say the magic words and everything will be implemented to the game. You guys talk and talk and act like it's so easy yet most of you can't even set up a computer or reboot the system. Most of you can't even build your own computers and set it up which isn't hard.
yes, this stuff is rather difficult; but several decisions that have been made have either been sloppy, simply to save time, or to save face with the community. For instance - removal of the nightfall buff, removal of almost all elemental primaries, very misleading changes to the obtaining of marks, the absence of exotics from year 1 being implemented into year 2 and the whole fiasco surrounding that, as well as many rather needless changes to the "meta" and the imbalance created because of such things. I do not expect any major changes to occur unless a DLC or another game comes out, of which are the only times that anything major really happens.
Regardless of how ive railed against what you've said here, i understand where you are coming from; but in the future i recommend looking at the point that a post is trying to get across before ranting on the idiocy of the community and its entitlement from the insults weaved within it. Concerning this post, he wants bungie to implement ideas that would breathe life back in to the game, as it does seem to be having trouble breathing. Although "do your job bungie" does merit words, it doesnt merit bashing the community. It promised to do a 10 year run, and its losing some of its pep after roughly 15 months. At the very least, there are ideas here that should be implemented for the sake of creating longevity and personal customization that would serve towards longevity as well.
