There is no limit cap of the amount of Legendary Marks you can earn weekly. Bungie never lied about that. However, there is a cap on the amount you can earn from activities weekly. Bungie never said anything about that beforehand. So again, Bungie never lied.

"There is no limit cap of the amount of legendary marks you can earn weekly" "There is a cap on the amount you can earn from activities weekly" What dude? The only way to earn marks is through activities. You can earn 30 a day from daily story and crucible. 30x7 You can earn 30 from the weekly crucible playlist. 30x1 You can earn 30 from the weekly heroic strike playlist. 30x1 That is a total of 270 marks a week. That is a hard limit. The only other possible way to accrue any other legendary marks on a typical weekly basis (other than event specific bounties) is by dismantling items you may or may not get as a random drop. That is not earning. That is RNG. I'm not going to say that they flat out lied, but the statement saying that there is no cap on earning them is completely false. The statements are tantamount to the same thing.

But they're still not the same statement. Legendary gear drops fairly frequently just normally running the strike playlist be it from an actual drop or decoded from an engram. The Crucible isn't too bad, either. You pretty much have to avoid any activity that may result in legendary gear to never get legendary gear. Your statement would be calid if legendary gear wasn't an incredibly frequent occurence since TTK.

You're a -blam!-ing idiot.

That's not earning, that's playing the game and relying on random number generator is. That's not the definition of earning, that's the definition of luck.
