They don't want to do it because it's too much time, money and effort for a game that may be obsolete several months from now. All of these ideas are good, but best reserved for Destiny 2.

  • I agree, I don't think Destiny 1 is going to bounce back. However unless they get a new team to work on Destiny 2, I don't think we will see the game being released let alone the game series lasting long enough till Sept next year for it's release.

  • They do. In fact, Destiny 2 was confirmed to be in development soon after Destiny 1 was released. Not only does Bungie have 500 employees (I'd imagine the far majority working on the sequel) but High Moon is on board (how I wish they was working on Transformers instead, but I digress).
