Don't believe everything in the media. The vast majority of military operations aren't covered in the media because they're classified or "off the record". The US has bases all over the world, we've got troops everywhere.

Blaming Obama for everything makes you the tinfoil hat wearing nutjob. I didn't vote for him but I'm smart enough to know he's not the one running the country. The President is a puppet. Congress and the Senate make all the decisions, that's how the US government works.
