I was in Iraq for their first elections in 2004-2005 and had Iraqi people crying and hugging me because they were so happy to be able to vote for the first time in their lives. I also listened to first hand accounts of the depravity of the Hussein family. Did you know that his sons would take a husband and wife, force the husband to watch his wife be gangraped then fed alive to their pet tigers, then execute the husband?
