Episode Characters
Karu- The Council Master, tasked with overseeing and mediating all the Council's debates and decisions.
Janus- A high ranking New Monarchy rep within the Council; second in command to Karu.
Phillip- One of the Council's oldest members
*In a room found deep in the walls of Tower High met the Council, a 7-man group of the best scouts, strategists, and warriors at the Tower.*
*The group was created to manage the active operations of Tower High. Special ops, assaults, and data collection, all done by the best students the school had to offer.*
*At the head of the table sat Karu*
Karu: Janus, have you found anything?
Janus: Same as always. No word of warning, no confirmation; a cell just splits from the group in the middle of an attack, every single time, at the exact same time every week.
Karu: ....a contingency plan?
Janus: I doubt it. Hive aren't known to retreat, no matter the odds. Their monarchs give an order, and they'll follow it till death.
The team we sent in was tracking their movements, but they dropped off the radar about thirty minutes after contact. The cell and the fireteam. It's almost as if they just disappeared, right into thin air.
*Silence broke out throughout the room; no one said a word.*
Karu We need more intel... We know they're up to something, but we need a team that can get out there and find out what's really going on...
*The members at the table all nodded in agreement.*
Phillip: And who, might I ask, would be placed into this group of accepted individuals?
Janus: One of my best Warlock students is perfect for the job. She can put together a team of herself and two others.
Over the course of the next few days, they would then prepare for their first mission as students of Tower High.
*No one said a word; once again, there was nothing but silence.*
Karu: It's not a bad idea... I like it.
Phillip: Students? For a high-priority task? You're mad.
Karu: Yes. I am mad. Mad that we are losing guardians to whatever this threat is. Janus is right, we need a new strategy. Something different.
Someone who has the capacity to act with a braver mindset. To charge into the wild before they even think about fearing it.
*Karu looked around the room.*
Karu: We're getting old, my friends. It's time we put our trust in the seeds of our future.
*For one last time, silence played across the air. But this time, it was unanimous. The members all knew what had to be done.
Phillip (to Janus): The two team members. Where will she begin looking for them?
Janus: I know just the place....

This whole story hinges on the fact guardians can have children that wield the light. And from what we know and what is assumed. I don't think their children could use the light. If they can have children. But so far the plot is, hive are acting erratically. A team of guardians were sent to investigate but they dropped of the radar so the mission is thought to be a failure. So they send students instead of more guardians or better guardians.

I'll be honest. If you ever wrote and published a book in the destiny universe, I'd be the first to buy it. Grade A stuff my friend! Keep up the good work!
