I love destiny and its been awesome to play since the beta, but sadly im leaving the game for some time. Im joining the marines and leaving for bootcamp this Sunday. Its been great being able to play with the few of you i could and i hope i can be back to playing it soon!!!!
EDIT: thank you all so much for the responses, i didnt think this would blow up like this. The support from all of you in the community is amazing and i really appreciate all the tips and tricks im getting for success. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
EDIT: To everyone saying its for attention, my primary goal of posting this is the fact ive been playing for a long time, ive grown to love this game and the people i play with. It may not have been you or anyone you know but for the few that do then hey i had a great time playing with you and cant wait to play again. Im not an attention whore or whatever i just love the game and the community. But rather then be another "I'm leaving destiny" post like you see every other day, id put my reason for leaving.

Some advice, don't argue with someone about how to do things once you're in the platoon, Drill Instructors are always watching and they'll fry both your asses. Teamwork teamwork teamwork, if you get a weak guy in the squad always help him out, it'll help out in the long run and it'll help him out too. Don't go against the grain, meaning if you are told to do something that sucks then just do it and get it over with....have that mentality and you'll make it. Who you are, who they were before the Marines means little in boot camp, everybody's an equal in there, you'll learn that fast. Get past that and earn your "Eagle, Globe and Anchor" then you'll go off to either Recruiters Assistance for like 10 days or you'll go straight to Marine Combat Training. After that you'll go to your MOS training school to learn the basics of whatever field you chose (Infantry school for Grunts, Artillery school for cannoneers, Tanks for Tank crewmen, Comm school radios, etc.) Don't let shit get you down, keep your head up and remember this, you are about to become one bad motherfucker. Semper Fi.
