I love destiny and its been awesome to play since the beta, but sadly im leaving the game for some time. Im joining the marines and leaving for bootcamp this Sunday. Its been great being able to play with the few of you i could and i hope i can be back to playing it soon!!!!
EDIT: thank you all so much for the responses, i didnt think this would blow up like this. The support from all of you in the community is amazing and i really appreciate all the tips and tricks im getting for success. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH
EDIT: To everyone saying its for attention, my primary goal of posting this is the fact ive been playing for a long time, ive grown to love this game and the people i play with. It may not have been you or anyone you know but for the few that do then hey i had a great time playing with you and cant wait to play again. Im not an attention whore or whatever i just love the game and the community. But rather then be another "I'm leaving destiny" post like you see every other day, id put my reason for leaving.

Good luck. Work hard. Pay attentions to details. Remember boot camp is designed to expose the weaknesses of recruits. Listen to the sergeants, their job is to make you stronger, smarter, and a team member.

Write/etch your name on everything or you'll lose it faster than you can blink! When it's time to toe the line, go hard in everything asked of you. Don't be a middle of the pack guy unless you're trying out for spec ops later on. Try to lead your platoon so you can be noticed first for other opportunities that'll come up. I joined in winter and that cold chill going thru you all day only builds character. Best of luck.

Good luck. You should have waited until spring. You're in for some cold days and nights.

Best advice I ever got before leaving for boot : A smart man learns from his own mistakes. A wise man learns from the mistakes of others.
