The Taken King has been out for a few months now, and many people have probably done the long quest line for the exotic scout rifle Boolean Gemini. For those of you that don't know, you get this scout from completing all the reef quests and hitting rank 3 with Queen's Wrath. Anyway, when TTK was new, many people were using it, but since then I have not seen one in a long time. I recently started using it again, and once I stat checked it with the warlock scout rifle Tlaloc, I saw that you can get it to have more range, stability, and reload than the Tlaloc without having to sacrifice either range or stability. Granted, I know Tlaloc's exotic perk is more useful because it takes down the time to kill, but it's a warlock exotic so hunters and Titans can't take advantage of it. The BG also has those improvements without sacrificing super usage. So my question is, why don't people use it? TL;DR: Exotic scout rifle from reef quest has really good stats but is uncommon among guardians, and I'd like to know why.
