Boolean Gemini Anyone?
The Taken King has been out for a few months now, and many people have probably done the long quest line for the exotic scout rifle Boolean Gemini. For those of you that don't know, you get this scout from completing all the reef quests and hitting rank 3 with Queen's Wrath.
Anyway, when TTK was new, many people were using it, but since then I have not seen one in a long time. I recently started using it again, and once I stat checked it with the warlock scout rifle Tlaloc, I saw that you can get it to have more range, stability, and reload than the Tlaloc without having to sacrifice either range or stability. Granted, I know Tlaloc's exotic perk is more useful because it takes down the time to kill, but it's a warlock exotic so hunters and Titans can't take advantage of it. The BG also has those improvements without sacrificing super usage.
So my question is, why don't people use it?
TL;DR: Exotic scout rifle from reef quest has really good stats but is uncommon among guardians, and I'd like to know why.

I can't get used to the scope. Otherwise it's not bad.

Edited by Killamox: 11/25/2015 6:57:31 PMI love everything about Boolean Gemini I use it all the time. Its exotic perk could use a buff though. "One way, Or another" should both be active at the same time and "One Way" should grant a recovery boost instead of agility.

The scope on it kills it for me. Gun doesn't feel like a scout rifle.

Tlaloc is faster when perk is active. Gemini has ugly sight. You can get Exotic sword and Thread upon stars instead Gemini.

The exotic perks require a kill to proc and when it does it's not noticeable at all. The RoF makes it uncompetitive, the stability is ass, and it's hip fire accuracy is worse than the mida.

1 ReplyBF feels so average, like it should be legendary. The exotic perks do almost nothing to help you.

Because everything gets outclassed by pulse rifles. Also exotics are no longer exotic. They're just yellow colored legendaries with meh perks

After next month hardly anyone will be using either because MIDA will be back in town!

Its nice and I have it but there are so many better options in my opinion
